Dr. Dudley is a board certified ophthalmologist. She is a highly respected and skilled cataract surgeon with more than 20 years of experience offering the latest in surgical technology and intraocular lenses. Dr. Dudley also provides advanced medical, laser and surgical care for the treatment of glaucoma. She cares for many patients with diabetes, age-related macular degeneration and also provides routine eye care.
Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Dudley loves the northwest lifestyle and people. She attended the University Of Washington School Of Medicine, graduating with honors, and remained in Seattle to complete her internship and residency in ophthalmology at the UW. Dr. Dudley then completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia before receiving Board Certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1996.
Dr. Dudley emphasizes patient education and the promotion of healthy lifestyles as an avenue to achieving healthy vision. Dr. Dudley spent five years on the Patient Education Committee for the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) from 1999-2004. Dr. Dudley became a trustee to the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (WAEPS) from 2006-2011. She then served as President of WAEPS in 2012-2013. Dr. Dudley received a lifetime achievement award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2014. Dr. Dudley is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), an active member of WAEPS, and a member of Washington State Medical Association, Whatcom County Medical Society, and the International Spaeth Fellow Society.
