“I enjoy my practice of optometry because it allows me to interact with a diverse group of people from all walks of life.”
Dr. Crissy has been practicing optometry since 1979, performing routine eye examinations and disease screening. At Northwest Eye Clinic, he also works with patients who have challenging contact lens and glasses prescriptions that are due to keratoconus, high myopia (very nearsighted individuals), macular degeneration, and other issues. He brings a spirit of compassion, comfort, and caring to his Bellingham and Whatcom County patients.
Dr. Crissy graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in 1975. He then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating with a B.S. in Biological Health Science in 1977 and an O.D. in 1979. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry.
“A yearning for open spaces and an affinity for backcountry skiing lured me to the Pacific Northwest in 1989, and to Bellingham and Northwest Eye Clinic in 1991. I chose the practice of optometry because it allows me the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people from all walks of life as well as a variety of age groups.”
