Frederick S. Kaiser, M.D.
“I choose this area of medicine for the positive and notable improvements healthy vision can make in people’s lives.”
Dr. Kaiser treats people of all ages in Bellingham and Whatcom County and practices comprehensive ophthalmology, including the surgical treatment of cataracts and other eye diseases. He received his medical degree at Cornell University in 1978, and then continued with internship training at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, followed by a three year residency program in ophthalmology at Indiana University. Dr. Kaiser is a Bellingham native and has been caring for patients at Northwest Eye Clinic since 1983.
As a physician, I value the personal interaction I have with my patients, many of whom have been coming to the clinic since I started my practice. I am fortunate to be able to provide continuity of care to many of my father’s former patients who have maintained their association with our clinic because of the excellent treatment they receive here.
I chose this area of medicine for the positive and notable improvements healthy vision can make in people’s lives, and I cherish my ability to play a role in maintaining and restoring their visual function.”
