Welcome Dr. Stephanie Cramer

Dr. Cramer will be joining us in early 2019 accepting new patients and taking over the practice of Dr. Frederick Kaiser


Dr. Stephanie Cramer practices comprehensive ophthalmology and provides clinical and surgical care for adult ophthalmic conditions including cataracts, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and macular degeneration. She also provides medical care for pediatric eye disease including amblyopia and strabismus. Dr. Cramer graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Chemistry in 2005. After graduating she was a teacher in the Oakland Teaching Fellows program in Oakland CA. During her teaching year, she decided to practice medicine and attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with her M.D. in 2010. After graduation, she completed her residency and surgical training at Oregon Health and Sciences University, Casey Eye Institute where she remained on faculty until 2018. As a faculty member, she practiced primarily in Astoria OR and did research in rural health.

Dr. Cramer is thrilled to be joining Northwest Eye clinic and to be moving to the Bellingham area with her family. She is excited to be joining such a cohesive group of physicians dedicated to maintaining such a high standard of care. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, swimming, cooking and listening to classical music. Dr. Cramer is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
